Workshop Subject : Using Value Stream Mapping & Opportunity Analysis to enhance strategic sourcing

Value-stream mapping is a lean-management methodology for analysing the 'As-Is' state and designing a 'To-Be' state, which when applied to strategic sourcing it supports the concept of continuous improvement and long-term systematic efficiency.

Opportunity Analysis is a structured approach that attempts to identify ways to capture value through sourcing. These opportunities are identified after analysing the business requirements, supplier spend, current sourcing processes and other data sources, whilst at the same time identifying innovative solutions to sourcing and supply problems.

By attending this workshop you will learn how to innovatively use non-traditional sourcing methodologies, such as value stream mapping and opportunity analysis, to extract value from your supply chain and maximise savings opportunities.
